Feito de Portugal is FADU's international campaign. Used on clothing and especially scarves. The words written in portuguese mean something like "Made by Portugal", where the word Feito means both an achievement and being made.
Every achievement of a Portuguese athlete is also an achievement for the country.
About the Project.
The creation of the campaign came from the need to develop an image for the national university teams. It needed a slogan that would make the people in Portugal even more connected to the student-athlete and who would be proud to shout it out after an achievement.
The image itself goes hand in hand with this pretext, in which we aimed to recapture Portugueseness, with a typeface that resembled the old traditional posters from the 40s and 50s. The slogan accompanied this image during the competitions of the 21/22 and 23/24 seasons and then followed the theme of the Portuguese Mission in the 22/23 season.
In addition, during the month of July 2022, two international events took place at the same time, the FISU - World University Futsal Championship and EUSA - European University Games. Two strands were then created:
'Feito de Portugal' to Conquer the World |  'Feito de Portugal' to Conquer Europe.
Clothing Design.
For the event many different uniforms were made, including: Casual clothing for officials; sweatsuits; training and competition kits (one for each individual sports). The training and competition kits follow the image of the fadu's branding, using the icons made for different sports.
In most FISU competitions, we have to follow rules on how the elements on the competition uniforms should be positioned. For this reason, there are always limitations on what can be created.
In the 21/22 sports season, the equipment was a gradient with the icons that make up FADU's visual identity. As this was the first time we had customized equipment, we decided to reinforce the basic image of the federation.
In the 23/24 season, the equipment line followed the same pattern, with one difference: the icons were now centralized. Instead of using all the sports, the 7 sports in which Portugal were world university champions were highlighted. Bringing this history to the equipment further reinforced the impact of wearing the jersey.

Kit Launch.
For the launch of the 2024/25 Futsal kit, we did a photo shoot with some of the players who competed for Portugal in Shanghai, China. The theme was in line with the campaign's slogan 'Made in Portugal', looking for the roots of Portuguese equipment.

I've had the opportunity to cover some of our national teams in competition, as well as portuguese clubs in international representation. Here are some memorable shots.
